APPROACH

PROCESS ORIENTATED PSYCHOLOGY

Process-oriented psychology (process work), a branch of Jungian depth psychology, is an approach used to broaden a person’s self-awareness. It aims to uncover unconscious thoughts, beliefs and feelings which are expressed through the body, words, dreams, and our relationships. When explored, these insights provide a greater sense of understanding on how to live a more conscious life.

SHADOW WORK

The term shadow, a Jungian phrase, describes the aspect of ourselves cast out of the light of consciousness. It is the aspects of ourselves we reject, deny or suppress due to a wounding that has never been integrated. Commonly experienced as feeling ‘triggered’, this strong physiological and emotional response can be a signal toward aspects of ourselves that need our attention.

DREAM WORK

Do you ever wonder what your dreams mean? Your dreams may appear to be unprocessed thoughts or weirdly wonderful images. But they are so much more than that. Dreams are manifestations of our unconscious. By exploring the content of your dreams - the people, places and feelings, new insights may arise, that perhaps at first glance seemed unlikely.
